Giants to find first win? Chiefs to remain undefeated? Papi’s NFL Week 4 predictions
After his bold prediction of a Detroit upset over Atlanta was shattered by a controversial call from the video referee, Cameron Storer is back with his week 4 Papi’s Picks. Will the Giants find their first win of the season? Will the Chiefs remain undefeated? Will the Steelers or the Ravens clinch victory in the NFL’s biggest rivalry? Hopefully the refs don’t interfere too much this week…
Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers: Green Bay.
Chicago are coming off an impressive first win over a good Pittsburgh team but this is Lambeau and this is that baaaaaaad man #12 Aaron Rodgers. The Packers limped by Cinci last week, this one will be more clear cut. 17-31.
New Orleans Saints @ Miami Dolphins: New Orleans.
Saints, coming off a good divisional win in Carolina, are up against an undefeated Panthers team. Miami struggled against the Jets – who arguably the worst team in the league – I expect that to continue in the season’s second overseas fixture. 28-16.
Los Angeles Rams @ Dallas Cowboys: Los Angeles.
I got my bois stinking up the joint in Jerry world. Both teams are coming off road wins, but I have watched every snap of Dallas this year; they’re overrated. LA however, they’re underrated. I predict Rams to cause an upset in Arlington. 27-24.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns: Cincinnati.
You read that right, I have actually predict Marvin Lewis to get a win! Cleveland let me down last week in Indy, and they NEVER win the battle of Ohio. The Bengals impressed in Green Bay, I expect them to keep that up. 24-21.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens: Pittsburgh.
The biggest rivalry in the NFL, this is a tough game to call. However, Flacco and the Ravens were terrible last week. Even though the Steelers also had a rough time in Chicago, I predict Big Ben to get the job done. 28-24.
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans: Houston.
Another tough one, I’m unsure on both teams. Both looked good last week; I like Houston’s D over Tennessee’s and if their offence performs like they did in Foxboro, I think Houston get the W. 28-31.
Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings: Detroit.
Karma will guide Detroit through in this. Robbed last week against Atlanta, I expect Stafford to bounce back in the right way. Vikings will be an incredibly hard game in their house, but I believe in Detroit…again. 34-30.
Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots: New England.
The Panthers are a fraud at 2-1 in my opinion. Newton was figured out by the Saints in week 3, the Saints were coming off a loss to New England in that game. Another day at the office for Brady, Pats get the win. 16-33.
Buffalo Bills @ Atlanta Falcons: Atlanta.
The Falcons are one of the worst 3-0 teams I’ve seen. Someone will figure them out, I wanted this to be my upset of the week but I just don’t trust Buffalo. Atlanta to somehow get to 4-0, probably with the help of the Refs. 18-28.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Jets: Jacksonville.
I’m unsure on the Jets, I do not think they’re as bad as people say, but I don’t think they’re very good either. Jags were soooo good at Wembley, they’re gonna move clear in the AFC South. 24-13.
New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa Bay.
This is a must win game for New York, they lost a heartbreaker last week and are 0-3 in a division of 2-1’s. I do not think they will however and I’ve got Winston responding in a big way to the loss in Minnesota. 28-33.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Los Angeles Chargers: Los Angeles.
My upset of the week! LA are 0-3 but they have been unfortunate all year, they could very easily be 2-1 right now. I think their luck prevails in this game against the Eagles who struck the lottery last week with a 61 yard FG winning kick. 21-26.
San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals: Arizona.
The Cardinals dominated the first half against Dallas, but couldn’t score. 49ers were unlucky over the Rams, but they just don’t look like a team capable of winning on the road. 27-33.
Oakland Raiders @ Denver Broncos: Denver.
This is a huge game in the AFC West. Both are 2-1, both are coming off losses and neither can afford back-to-back defeats. I just feel Denver will be tough to budge in Mile High. 22-28.
Indianapolis Colts @ Seattle Seahawks: Seattle.
I really want to believe in the Colts after they’ve sided with their young QB Jacoby Brissett, but this is Seattle. Even the Seahawks (who are poor) become 2 times better at home with the twelfth man. Against every ounce of my conviction,I’m going for the Seahawks, but I am hoping to jinx them again.
Washington Redskins @ Kansas City Chiefs: Kansas City.
Really tough game to call. Kirk Cousins is on fire for the Redskins, but the whole Chiefs franchise is on fire right now. At Arrowhead on a Monday night? I’ve got Reid’s Chiefs remaining undefeated. 31-35.
Upsets of the Week: Rams over Cowboys, Chargers over Eagles.
Fantasy Player of the Week: Aaron Rodgers.
