Defence:

GK – Zdenek Zlamal – Hearts’ Czech goalkeeper had little to in the first half as his side raced into a   2-0 lead. However, Aberdeen improved in the second half and could have won a point if it was not for Zlamal’s late fingertip save from Gary Mackay-Steven’s shot.

RB – James Tavernier – The Rangers captain scored two penalties in Rangers’ win at Hamilton. This was his seventh successful penalty of the season – from seven attempts, his eighth of the season overall.

CB – Craig Halkett – The former Rangers man continued his brilliant start to the season with a goal and a clean sheet in Livingston’s 4-0 home victory over Dundee. His early season form has led to speculation over a return to Ibrox and performances like this one will not make it go away.

CB – Declan Gallagher – Another of Livi’s outstanding central defensive trio. Gallagher scored the first and alongside Halkett and fellow goal scorer, Alan Lithgow, kept Dundee to very few chances.

LB – Ricki Lamie – Another vital part of a Livingston defence that has only conceded five goals so far this season. The left wingback looked solid as his side picked up another clean sheet.

Midfield:

CM – Alan Power – The Irishman scored a spectacular equaliser in Kilmarnock’s 2-1 win over St Mirren. This was the fourth match in a row in which Killie have conceded the first goal but have come back to win and the midfielder was instrumental in the turnaround.

CM – Tom Rogic – A goal and an assist for the Australian playmaker helped Celtic to victory over Hibernian. The goal was a fine strike from outside the box and the assist was a neat through ball into the path of Olivier Ntcham.

CM – Arnaud Djoum – The Cameroon international scored the opening goal for Hearts as they won 2-1 against Aberdeen at Tynecastle. The bullet header into the top corner was his first goal of the season in a victory which kept them top of the league

Attack:

RW – Greg Stewart – The 28-year-old provided two assists as Kilmarnock won 2-1 in Paisley. The forward has already equalled his goalscoring tally of last season which he spent on loan at Aberdeen.

ST – Odsonne Edouard – Two goals for the Frenchman helped his Celtic side to thrilling 4-2 victory over Hibs at Celtic Park. It was his fourth goal in his last three games after a slow start for the club’s record signing after making his loan move permanent.
