Hibs top Edinburgh, Livi hold out at Celtic Park – Team of the Week

Hibernian came from a goal down to claim their first derby victory at Tynecastle in six years, with Irish winger Daryl Horgan striking twice. Later on Saturday, Livingston frustrated Celtic and secured their survival with a goalless draw at Parkhead, while Rangers’ Scott Arfield bagged a hat-trick at Fir Park.

Goalkeeper

Liam Kelly – Ever-present Kelly made several saves as Livingston got a credible goalless draw at Parkhead. This was the second time this season that Livi have held Celtic goalless.

Defence

Craig Halkett – Another clean sheet for Halkett and Livingston gave them a 0-0 draw against Celtic. The defender has his future sorted for next season having signed a pre-contract with Hearts.

Darren McGregor – The Hibs defender helped his side to derby victory over Hearts. Hibs are unbeaten in the eight league games since manager Paul Heckingbottom took charge.

Lowe looks likely to feature for Frank Lampard’s Derby County next season 

Max Lowe – Another fine performance for the full back helped Aberdeen to 2-0 win at Dens Park. Two wins in four days for Aberdeen as they bounced back from defeat last Saturday at Tynecastle.

Midfield

Gary Dicker – The Kilmarnock midfielder led by example as his side comfortably beat St Johnstone 2-0 at Rugby Park.  The win keeps Killie in a Europa League spot as aim to qualify for Europe for the first time since 2001.

Scott Arfield – The Canadian international midfielder scored a hat trick as his Rangers side beat Motherwell 3-0. He has scored 11 goals this season after his move from Burnley.

Arfield bagged his first hat-trick in senior football on Sunday

Steven Davis – The midfielder looked back to his best as Rangers capitalised on Motherwell’s errors, winning 3-0 at Fir Park. The win puts Rangers eight points clear of third position.

Tony Andreu – A fine cross for Steve Davies’s goal helped Hamilton to a point against relegation rivals St Mirren. The result kept Hamilton four points above the relegation play-off place.

Attack

Anders Dreyer – The Danish winger scored the vital equaliser as St Mirren drew their relegation six-pointer with Hamilton. This was his first goal since moving on loan from Brighton.

Sam Cosgrove – His 19th and 20th goal of the season gave Aberdeen the victory against Dundee. The win keeps Aberdeen level on points with Kilmarnock in third position.

Daryl Horgan – The Irish winger was the derby day hero in Edinburgh as Hibs beat Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle. This was their first win away to Hearts since 2013.
