The Football Round Up – Killie sack Dyer, Liverpool back to their best and European title races

As The Football Round Up reaches its 25th episode of the season, Jack Donnelly is joined by Struan Garvie, Graeme Sinclair and Jamie Mcintosh for a bumper episode as way of celebration.

With this episode being a milestone, the boys propose two Big Questions – the first, discussing the best upsets in football, sees England’s loss to Iceland at Euro 2016, Greece’s Euro 2004 victory and the 2016 Scottish Cup Final mentioned, while the second, regarding the best transfer business, sees shouts made for Phillipe Coutinho, Glen Kamara and Papy Djilobodji, to name a few names.

In Chewin’ the Football, the panel discusses the situation at Kilmarnock after Alex Dyer vacated the dugout after Killie’s 3-2 loss to St. Johnstone. They also discuss Hibernian’s return to winning ways after defeating Dundee United, while also going through a history of bad transfer business at Celtic Park.

In English Entertainment, the boys talk about Manchester United’s stumble in form after dropping points against Arsenal, discuss who has impressed most in Thomas Tuchel’s first couple of games in charge of Chelsea, ponder whether Liverpool are back to their best and confirm whether Patrick Bamford is good or bad.

In a long-winded Last Ditch Challenge, there’s discussion about the title races in Spain, France and Italy, with the boys also offering forward four or five “final thoughts.”
